This series is about honoring the home as a place in which memories, family, love, and flowers can bloom. I truly love painting house portraits from the grass to the walkways, to the shutters, to the leaves on the trees. Our homes represent family, security, growth, and freedom. They provide us with spaces to create memories and learn about ourselves and each other.
I tend to amplify color, movement, and flowers in the environment to honor the space and home where you live and bring memories to life. I can't wait to work with you on creating a portrait that will bring you and your family joy for many years to come.
Pricing
Base pricing includes a watercolor painting of your home adorned with flowers on archival quality watercolor paper with the highest quality watercolor paints based on the photos you provide.

Mats and Framing
Pricing above only includes the painting without mats or framing. If you would like mats or framing I will add them to your estimate for your approval prior to purchase.
Shipping/Delivery
Your painting is lovingly packed and packaged up to be delivered to your door safe and sound. If you have special event deadlines (weddings, birthdays, housewarmings) please indicate so in the form. Please note this is a custom painting so please place your requests at least 3+ weeks prior to the event or deadline. If you need it in a rush let me know for an additional fee. I will do my absolute best to accommodate all
orders.

Reference Photos
This is the part where people tend to get overwhelmed and I am here to tell you - Don't! It's all great, your house is great, your photos are great. Here are some things to keep in mind:

Take photos of the front of your house from across the street or further down it. Photos from the edge of the driveway also create a lovely angle. What we are looking for is shape of the house and the shape of the yard.

Include sky above the roof. This gives me a better understanding of your roof angle.

Send as many pictures or angles as you like and indicate if you have a preference.

If you want to send a video, that's great too! I can work with either photo or video.

Don't worry about cars or weird stuff on your neighbors lawn, they will not go in the painting.
At the end of the day I have done a few paintings using just the Google maps street view and it was a picture of the house ten years ago. It still worked beautifully.

Commercial, Public, and Historic Buildings
Commercial and Public: I also do commercial and public buildings! Wow! So if your town or school would like to have a custom watercolor done with beautiful flowers please indicate in the form below and I will reach out. Different pricing and sizes are recommended for larger commissions.
Historic Restoration: Watch the old become new again when I paint historical buildings from black and white photos and make them colorful again. Please contact if interested in this type of work.
